OK! I feel alot better with your helpful comments and the fact that when I look on the Liz Hurley feedback thing, MOST people did not put the 7 after SW and got their autograph in under 3 months!

Thanks again,
Dallas :)

You may well be OK - wait and see. Like others said above, it really depends on whether there is another road with the same name in SW London.

On the positive side, others have had successes with the wrong postcode, so you will probably be OK.

As much as it pains me to say so, the London "posties" are pretty good with mail delivery, and they will probably pick up on the correct address from the Liz Hurley name.

Good luck!

Hi 2STARFREK3 :D

Unfortunetly, Ian is correct. There should have been a 7 there.

There's a chance it may still go through. It will more than likeley, however, come back RTS.

Sorry for the bad news.

Hi 2STARFREAK3 {up}

Just a quick note to let you know the post code for Liz Hurley should be SW7 2JE (you missed the 7 out!)

Also, as the others have said above, either way will work although normally you don't put England - just United Kingdom. If you want to show it properly, the post code should also be on a separate line for the UK (apparently it helps the machines read it?!)

The address should therefore look like:

Elizabeth Hurley
3 Cromwell Place
London
SW7 2JE
United Kingdom

Hope this helps (and I'm not too late!)

2STARFREAK3 wrote:Hi, I am writing my first letter to the United Kingdom (Elizabeth Hurley) and I have a question about addressing it as I live in the USA. I know for a fact that London is in England. Is this how I should address my letter?

Elizabeth Hurley
3 Cromwell Place
London, England SW 2JE
United Kingdom

or

Elizabeth Hurley
3 Cromwell Place
London SW 2JE
United Kingdom

Hi 2STARFREAK3 :D

First of all, good luck with your request. Hopefully you'll get an autograph.

You can address it either way. As long as you have London, and SW 2JE it will get there.
