I actually prefer the soft-gloss or Semi-gloss to anything else. The matte finish is okay but the pictures don't look that great and the high-gloss I have had problems with certain types of markers drying correctly.

But I have had no problems with my Office Depot Semi-Gloss Professional Photo paper.

It's also a very heavy weight paper and has a nice feel to it. The item number for Office Depot is 244-360.

Good Luck.
