And i dont think it stupid, im am slightly happy they have touched it, but i feel more happy when they personlise or write something special on an autograph, or even send a letter back as it shows they have read what you have wrote.
My little cousin did sun lol we had to "sign-in" to eat lol

anyway lol there is a few of mine that yes I get giddy about when I know they have touched it before me BUT they are mostly my most wanted so lol but yeah it's not stupid at all

I have to agree with both points. It doesn't do a thing for me if they touched it. While there is something of a personal connection with getting an autograph in person, it just isn't the same getting an autograph TTM. I am happy to get the autograph but it doesn't make me giddy or dizzy or anything. And I do agree 100% that it is a bit obsessive. The subject heading says it all.

When I wrote to Britney Spears (a childhood crush :oops: ) Via venue on her last tour, I stupidly sealed my SASE which I sent her. So when it came back with my cd covers signed and personalized ( :D :D {??} ), I could see it had been torn open and cellotaped back up. There is a blonde hair and fingerprint under the tape (it's transparent tape) and I like to think it's Britney's hair and fingerprint. But it's just a joke really, I'm not THAT obsessive. It's still pretty cool though :lol:

hahaha, this comment made me laugh! :lol:

I don't get "jittery" thinking about how they've touched it, but to know that they actually took the time to sign MY photo.. its really neat and definitely does get me cheery when I think about it. It's a really cool hobby. And to anyone that says it doesn't make them happy, what do you collect for? :roll:

I get autographs for collectibility...most sports autographs. Its just a cool hobby. Not saying you are crazy, but I think feeling the gitters or giddy because a celeb touched your picture is a little obcessive. Just my opinion...I don't feel that way, sorry.
