Welcome to the site!
Congrats!! That sounds like a very cute idea! If you want to get Kylie's, it could be possible if you get in touch with her managment! and with Mariah's you could try contacting her official website or ask some people who are members of her website and ask for ideas, you could also try contacting Nick Cannon - http://www.nickcannon.com/NEW-contact.html She doesn't really reply through mail! Good Luck! :)

Thank you for your reply and best wishes :)

There are quite a few people who I was hoping to right so, as I'm working on the thought that the more darts I use the more likely it is that some will hit the target. They are pretty far reaching from more minor celebrities to global stars, but anyway, here are my thoughts:

Comedians; Alan Carr, Dawn French, Michael McIntyre, Jo Brand, Lee Evans
Musicians; Mariah Carey - Hero will be our first dance song
Celine Dion - My Heart will go on will be our second dance song and I adore her!
Boyzone, Kylie Minogue, Take That, Girls Aloud, The Saturdays, Same Difference, Katy Perry, Elton John and Michael Buble
Theatre; Michael Ball
Television; The personalities involved with the following TV shows - Britains Got Talent, The X Factor, Spongebob Squarepants; Holly Willoughby

There are probably more and I won't bore you why these people/programs have significance to the memory book but yes, they are some of the people I will try and write too.

Civil Partnership Memory Book Idea

Hi Folks,

Thanks for having me on the site. Essentially, the reason I've joined up is because I am now recently engaged and I'm hoping to plan something special to accompany our big day. I remember when me and my partner first got together, some 5 years ago, we saw an article in a magazine from a lady who's husband-to-be was football mad so she got the players of his team to send letters of best wishes for their wedding.

I'm hoping to put something similar together but not so much football, but from the people who has made me and my fiance laugh, dance or cry together, from the artists who's songs have a story in our lives together to the TV stars who we've shared many happy moments watching.

I know it probably sounds abit yucky but its something I'd love to do and put together in a special 'book', perhaps to be available at the wedding reception. My question is, do you think celebrities are likely to get involved in this? Or am I just wasting my time and it's a rather stupid idea? Also, if I'm wanting to get a response form a band, is it better to contact the members individually or as a collective?

Any thoughts would be appreciated and once again, thanks for having me.

Aron
