I have never sent a request without a SASE, but sometimes the person will use their own envelope and postage to send a photo back. So the SASE wasn't really needed.

What do the celebrities do with my SASE if they don't use it?? :? Probably just throw it out.

relax lol not always do we send out sases with ours but we still get things back OR we even send them and they send another one in it's place lol I have gotten a few back other the words without useing sases and a few back that I sent ones to and they didnt use them lol believe it or not there is a FEW out there that will pay for the postage back to you everytime Ozzy being one (right now that is) so dont give up hope :mrgreen:

Often celebrities will reply without a SASE, but you have more chance of a success if you pay for return postage. I'm sure you'll still get a few replies without SASEs, but in the future, using them is a better option! {up}

Thats not true at all. wen i first started collecting, I didnt know about a SASE untill I reached my 60th autograph. All i wrote was a letter. And i got a lot of responses.

GRRRRRRR!!!! I found out what a SASE was AFTERRRRR i sent everything.
i'm so mad. like, now i probably wont get any of my autographs!!! i mean i sent a LOR, and i wrote thoughtful letters.
BUT, now i probably now have no absolute chance of getting them. What do y'all think??? :( :cry:


I sent it to Rob lowe, C.Tomas Howell, Tom selleck, and Nicholas Sparks.
My mom was neighbors with nicholas sparks, and i included her, and hes written to my mom before. so maybe i will have better chance with him. Has anyone had sucess without sending a SASE to anyone?
