Hi! Thanks for your answers :). I collect mainly actors/actresses, but not the big celebrities :). I've looked up some names of Danish/French/Swedish actors/actresses and most of them were listed in the database, not all, but I think it is impossible to list them all :P. Anyway, you are right that their database is impressive! Though I have found the addresses of their agencies on the net and for the French filmstars I use a free database, which is actualy a good one(y). So would it be worth joining Star.Tiger, do they give extra information like 'don't send to their agencies, because they won't reply' or other advice? Or do they just list the successes?

I'm sorry if my questions are bothering you, but I would like to make sure before joining to make sure it is worth the money :D!

Thank you very much!!! {up} {up}

The difference between ST and IMDb Pro is that the former covers all sorts of celebrities (actors, musicians, athletes, etc) while the latter only has information people involved with film (actors, directors, etc). ST's database is also much, MUCH larger and more updated than Fanmail's. But again, it really just depends on what you collect - if you collect mainly with well-known actors, ST probably isn't worth the fee.

ST is a terrific site for addresses. I write to a lot of lesser known people and can usually find an address there. I don't use their forums. The people are much nicer here!

Hey! Maybe this is a stupid question. What is exactly the difference between IMDb Pro & Star.Tiger?

I know that Star.Tiger is a fanmail community & the other is a general site about films/actors/actresses/... I don't use them, but I was woundering why would you pay for fanmail addresses on Star.Tiger, when you can look them up for free at Fanmail.biz. And if you can't find an address on Fanmail, you can look it up on IMDb Pro, because they list contact details of the celebrities, or don't they? I mean paying for IMDb Pro seems to me to be more usefull, because they list the contact details, it's up-to-date, you have access to the contact details of all actors/actresses listed in their database (when you can't find an address on Fanmail or Star.Tiger, they have it on IMDb Pro) etc. Or am I wrong? Do I have a wrong impression of IMDb Pro?

It is really a good paysite. It's not a waste of money. You can find such a lot of addresses and also VV ones.
Have a nice day.

Those codes tend to have a very small timeframe they're good for.

I like ST better, but it can just depend on who you are. ST has more adults and more people in the know, Fanmail has a lot of kids and beginners - it's just where you fit in I guess. For example, if you're mostly into the Disney/Nick kids or whatever, you'll likely find Fanmail useful while ST might not be worth bothering with.
