Talk about wierd timing. I purchased a signed 8x10 as the Joker from a UACC dealer the day before he died. It was a closeup of the Jokers face that was one of the first released of him as the Joker. I paid around $60. Can only imagine how much its worth now.

Thanks rcgrant82. you hang onto yours too. But I would never sell mine anyway. sentimental value is worth too much to me. :)

I agree, it's a really special item. I have a couple of Heath sigs (both on photos - one was late in Brokeback filming days, and another from a previous movie) and I know they are worth quite a bit. Hang on to it!

Hiya,

I deal with buying and selling people's autographs on a daily Basis...

The item is going to be compared to an "Index Card".
The Item is "Special" Which adds to the value!

I estimate the autograph at between $600 - $800.
IN An Autograph Auction it would fetch between $300 - $1200
In An Online Auction it would fetch between $400 - $900

I would pay $400 for this autograph and sell it on for a $300 Profit if i were dealing with this.

Thank You!

$200-$500 seems way under to me. Especially considering he's no longer with us, therefore no new autographs will ever come into being. I see autographs for living actors and musicians selling at those prices. But again I asked as I am not a collector who buys autographs. I also rarely see an authentic Heath Ledger autographs for sale.

I guess it could be compared to a signed index card and those are usually in the $200-300 range. It might be worth a bit more considering it was a 'special' item used by him and it has a fuller signature on it.

Your name can easily be cut out........

All I can say is, you are EXTREMELY lucky to have that item  What a beautiful talent.

Heath Ledger Authentic Autograph

Hi I asked once years ago about the worth of my Heath Ledger autograph but since I asked some things have changed so I was wishing to find out its current worth and value. I would never sell the autograph, but recently have had people approach me with offers so I was curious of its worth.
I got the autograph in 2001. It was signed by Heath on the back of his own judging tag while at a Fleminton fashion on the fields Racing event in Melbourne Australia. Since then I also discovered press photos taken which are huge HQ images showing the autograph being worn by my friend who got it for me sitting behind Heath.
I have looked around on the net but not found many authentic Heath Ledger autographs for sale at all. I found one magazine signed by him, just his name selling for $5000. But that's pretty much it.

I have listed things I think are in and out of my favor below, but what would be an estimated value?

So thing in my favor
-Photos which proves authenticity and providence
-marks an event he was at, has relevance- event was also covered in magazines
- Was on a judging tag worn by him
- A list actor
-He is currently only the second actor ever to win a posthumous Oscar
-autograph is in perfect condition and has more writing then just name
-He is still a very popular celebrity, and there is still a lot of hype for The Dark Knight and his performance

Things not in my favor
- Autograph is made out to me
- Not on a photo of him (that may only matter though depending on the buyers prefrence)
