You need basically a minimum of 100 per inch. This is the easiest way to describe my methods.
4x6 = 400 x 600
5x7 = 500 x 700
8x10 = 800 x 1000
10x8 (an 8x10 horizontal) = 1000 x 800

I have gotten decent 8x10s with a bit less. Adorama automaticaly refuses to print at any size that will not look good. If you upload your images the next page has order quantities. It has every size. If the image is big enough for an 8x10 it will allow you to pick any size up to 8x10. It's actually much easier than you think. But I recommend taking the time to find good images for 8x10s. It pays off in the long run. But Poker is tough to find quality pics, if it's not huge name stars. You might be forced into using 5x7.

It depends on what size you want. I generally need like 900x1200 or so to get a great 8x10. I dont generally make smaller pics. It will let you know what you can or cant when you go to order them.

Shipping is flat rates depending on shipping times. Also, the more pics you order, the lower the prices. If I order like 50 8x10s, the price dips to like 1.18 a pic.

Also, is anyone else having problems getting on their site? I uploaded a bunch of pics on Thursday, and now when I got to get to my galleries, the page wont open. Only a feedback tab on the left side is visible!
It says the page is open but with errors....some kind of child thing is on? WTF?

Ok thanks.. SO if most of the pictures I have saved are 800 x 600 or smaller.. what size should I look at having printed out that will come out nice???

I may be able to find some bigger pictures

Looking to get a lot of poker players autographs.....

Maybe I should look at doing 5 x 7

Thanks
Brett

There's a pricelist on the site itself, which also points out shipping costs

what kind of shipping do they charge to ship you like 50 photos? I print my own at home so I don't know, but if I was to guess it would probably be $10-12

.. when you say 2mp.. i see stuff like 800 x 600 when I save photos.. 2MP = 1600 x 1200, 4MP = 2272 x 1704, etc...

Thanks for your help....

If I get chance I will send you out something small.. if you are a baseball fanThanks for the offer, but its not necessary
(already need to get something together for another member)

How do you determine if certain pictures are to small for 8 x10? 2MP or larger, typically work well

What should I expect with shipping? I don't understand your question

Thanks for any help ( I am planning on getting a lot of pics done)
