I once got a success back , forgotten who from, where the person didn't seal up the envelope. They didn't pull off the strip with the sticky stuff underneath. I am probably really lucky I got everything back, that I know of.

Not only do I write 'do not bend', but I include a tough piece of cardboard with my requests. Most celebrities are smart enough to send back the cardboard, haha, so the mailman doesn't go through all the trouble of crushing the cardboard to force it in.

They're far from perfect, but they're still okay for the most part. With the volume of mail they process, and all the people and locations they pass through, you have to expect some bad eggs somewhere. And the 8x10+ envelopes many of use are just a easier size to damage.

Amazing story.

Jeez,it really seems like the us postal service are complete and utter dithering idiots,as well as corrupt.
