Well at times Fergie will be more than happy to stop and sign for fans, but if Pascal is there and she tries to sign for fans, he will push her along or push the fans out of the way. I understand he has to protect her, but he's over-controlling.

Don't bring the sickening legal system on to these boards, it erodes the reputability of the site.

I agree, pascal is a wonderful name. But yeah, I have heard some real horror stories about bodyguards. Sound to me like the equivilant of bouncers here in australia. Absolute drug-abusing scum most of them.

I like his name though.... Pascal. My first child may he be a man or a woman will be Pascal.... I once found a Home address for Thomas Bangaltier (Half of Daft Punk) and sent out to him so I guess it really depends on the person

Why would he come after me for libel?

From an insider. His name is Pascal. The guy is evil. He's flipped a woman over before and has pushed people down, really for no reason. Fergie has actually defended people he's knocked down.

Chris-I see your point. I don't think they're huge authors but I still want to respect them.
Oh dear :s how do you know her bodyguard confisgates mail?

For an author I would not recommend sending to their home address. Use their publisher's addy. If you go to their official site they usually tell you in their FAQ where to send and if they sign. Some don't want books sent, others are happy to sign them, send a bookplate or bookmark. Some will provide you with a fan address or tell you were you can buy signed books to support them and local bookstores. Honestly buying a signed book from the author's perfered store is the best way to support the author. You get their autograph, buy their book to support the author, and the book store makes money.

Taddy if you want PM me the author's you are interested and I will let you know if I looked into getting them to sign and if I have any info for you.

Cheers!

If it's Dan Brown or one of the other big name authors who are open about thair dislike for the public eye and want their privacy respected then i wouldn't.

Honestly if the author signs the address is usually their publisher/agent; and they sign. The only authors not openly listed are those who don't want to be bothered.
