What I did with my TV show compilations is had them all matted together in one frame. 6 8X10's look really great together in a 20X32" frame, especially if they're all BW or similar colors.
It's kinda pricey, but a really nice effect comes from the photo room dividers, similar to the one found here:

Also, I saw on one of those DIY shows that someone built a multiframe to look like an old window, and hung it from the ceiling so you could see photos on both sides.
