Well I am male / 51 yo, and began collecting about 4 years ago after finding a shoe box full of letters during a metal detecting excusion. The letters were all from Washington D.C. from many senators and included V.P. LBJ, Richard Nixon, Price Daniels, Ralph Yarborough, Arthur Godfrey, and many others. THat kind of started the bug so I got interested. Now have over 200 authentics and many autopens and secretarials as well....Just doing it for the fun and history now and will pass them all down to the grand kids after I teach them the importentce of archiving and collecting historical documents and autographs.
