Thanks for your reply {up}.

If first class mail hasn't been that quick recently I'm kinda worried that it might not have got there on time :(.

It's easily done. I've not written to that venue, but have not had problems with other places when I realised (or thought) that I hadn't written "hold until whenever" on it. I would work on the principle that if the venue is together enough to pass mail on then they can probably work out when it's for, as long as they can read the posters up all over the place.

I've found for the last week or so that 1st class mail is NOT arriving next day, this time of year always creeps up on me!

I sent a VV request today to comedian John Bishop for a show he is doing on Tuesday the 14th of December at Wembley arena. I sent it first class this morning around 8.45AM so it should be there by tomorrow, the 11th. I addressed the envelope to "Mr John Bishop, C/O Wembley arena" then the address.
The only thing I forgot was to write "Please Hold Until 14/12/2010" on the front of the envelope.

If you need to know anything else just ask {up}.

Via Venue problem

by Jack.S » Fri Dec 10, 2010 4:06 pm

Today I sent out a via venue request but as I was doing it in a hurry I forgot to write "Please Hold Until ________" on the envelope. Will this be a problem and will I get an RTS or will the venue know to hold it?

Any help would be greatly apreciated

Thanks
