I don't remember who I got for my first autograph. But I do remember was a minor league hockey player. I remember having his picture up in my room and when my dad and I went to a pre-season dinner there he was sitting at my table with us. Just like dobie, I have no idea where that (or any of my childhood autographs) went. While I do remember getting his autograph, the biggest memory I have is of me freaking out because I thought he could see me through the picture in my room and now he's sitting at my table!
My first TTM was what we now know as fan packs. I came home from a minor league hockey game in my hometown and in the program was the addresses of every AHL team. I wrote a letter to each and every one of them asking for things like a puck, a program, and a hockey stick. I'm sure I asked for more, but I can only remember those items. Again, I don't know where that stuff went. I never did get a hockey stick from any of them though...
While I have been keeping track of TTM autographs in a spreadsheet, I have no idea who was the first, tenth, one hundredth, or whatever, far as milestones are concerned, but I suppose I could look it up. Maybe someday I will.
