My replies from Pauline Collins were both smudged to the point of almost fading. :? Hairspray eh? May venture into the wife's dormain...

hmmmm.....I've heard hairspray works as a fixer for the ink, but I haven't tried it.

Sorry if there's a thread on this already, but how do you stop autograph smudging? I have two photos on heavy cardstock that the celeb signed in silver, and I discovered today that it's STILL rubbing off (and these were signed on Feb. 20th). Is there anything I can do to stop it from being ruined further? Right now it still looks ok.
