I dont buy many from packs but I have some from Supernatural and Smallville. I stopped getting them when the companies started making those horrible sticker "signed" cards. I only have the ones signed right on the actual card.

I had someone make me a bunch of custom cards for a few shows and I paid her for making the scans. I then had Adoramapix print them to the size of a trading card. They are the thickness of a glossy photo but I wanted them for mats and they look great for that use. I think u can have them print the cards on thicker stock but even the thinner ones fit in card holders and look the same.

I thought you were looking for unsigned cards to send TTM.

But for signed cards you might be better off buying what are called certs. It's short for "certified autographed card" and you mostly will find them online. I've found that looking for cards of celebrities online to be much more hard to locate than sports cards, but they can be found. There is a site that I know of that sells celebrity cards, but when I went to look on that site the other day I got hit with a computer virus/spyware (from a malicious ad), so I won't give out the URL for it for at least a week. (I had though my anti-virus software blocked it but apparently it didn't. So I'd rather be be safe than sorry.) I don't know if they sell singles and/or certs or only sell them by the box.

Another alternative is to check stores like Target, Wal-Mart, and your local hobby shops and check out what is available. Sometimes you can get lucky by buying a box or pack and find a cert inside. Or you could wind up with a card that has a swatch of clothing worn by an actor inserted in it. These kind of things are relatively rare, but it does happen.

I have probably around 70 trading cards autographed at the moment; most of them are TTM successes, but some I've purchased. They range from comic art cards to Doctor Who/Star Trek/Avengers/Batman: the Animated Series, and some random movie cards.

I too am trying to collect all types of trading cards. At different dollar stores I've found entire starter sets as well as booster packs of many things (ex. video games, animes, TV shows, & cartoons). Seen them being sold at some classic car shows too, and some County Fairs. Also found a complete factory set with 300 cards of western movie actors at a thrift store. They were having a sale so it costed .49 cents. I pounced on that one :D

Hey, thanks for the info. I am new at card collecting, but have purchased two for a reputable dealer. I was considering storing them in a box as they have protective sleeves over them and I am not sure if they will fit in the book sleeves.

I have seen them sold in packs and blaster boxes at Wal-Mart and Target. I have also seen the cards in sets in comic book stores. While you can also purchase them on eBay, I always avoid shopping there unless it is a last resort. Sometimes if you get lucky you might also find them in packs at dollar stores.

I store my cards in the Ultra-Pro 9 pocket pages and in a binder. You can find them at sports hobby shops and comic book stores.

I am really into celebrity signed trading cards right now. I currently have two (Kristin Bauer and Nelsan Ellis from True Blood). I was wondering if anyone else collects cards. If so, who do you have? Where did you purchase them? And how do you store them?
