News stations get letters all the time so I doubt they will just send out a photo without you requesting it.
Just send your letter again and type/write in a different color or highlight it saying - "oops I forgot.........etc, etc". Make the additional request noticable when they see the letter. Hope this helps.

Okay cool. :) Did anyone get anything without asking for a request for an autograph? I do want this person's autograph, but I didn't ask this person for one when I did up my letter and all yesterday and I sent it off today along with another news person. Didn't ask for an autograph either. It didn't come to mind til now. Opps! Just wondering thanks!

I started out writing to news personalities long before I found fanmail.biz. I never sent a SASE and always got a signed photo back in a network station envelope paid for by the news station. The networks have a budget for that.
When I did not get a reply from some newscasters I sent again WITH MY SASE and they still NEVER replied, so that just means that perseon doesn't want to send out personally autographed photos. So for newscasters you can take your chances with NOT sending the SASE because they don't pay out of their own pocket for postage.

Yeah it's always a good idea to send a SASE with every request. {up}

Question

When doing fanmail to a news person, do you put C/O "In Cure Of" or just the person's and the name of the station they are at? Found an address to a news station I enjoy watching and I asked via their contact on their site to make sure they accept fanmail to their news team and they do, but I don't now how to address it in terms or either their name or just C/O Their name Name plus the name of station they work at. thanks for any kind of help!
