How much money should I put in the envelope to be returned? Do I buy US stamps for the SASE? If I want to send it to the UK?

Hey. It is always better to have stamps of the country where the celeb is. I'm from the US, and I have sent US cash for return postage and doing that I have had a bunch of successes. But again always try to get stamps first.

Many thanks!!!
Befriend a collector from the US or Australia and do a stamp exchange with them or swap an autograph for some local stamps. If you have $40 autograph that they want, they can send you $40 worth of international stamps in return.

Hi

You can get International Reply Coupons (IRC's) from the post office so normally its best to include 2 of these with each request. They cost about £1.40 for one now i think so they are quite expensive.

Another option is to go to a money exchange place and get some US Dollars, i've started doing this cos it works out cheaper just including a couple of dollars per request.

I'm in the UK also so i usually do that, but sometimes, cos i live in a very small place, i find it hard to get the IRC's so i'll just write in my letter apologising that i haven't been able to get any postage coupons or US Stamps to include and just send my self addressed envelope with no postage.

Hope that helps :-)

Hi, I live in the UK and there are several people I'd like to write to in USA and Australia (Geoffrey Rush!) but I don't know where to start with paying for the postage back to me in the UK. Should I include those tokens you can get from the Post Office? Or something else?

Many thanks!!!
