Britney does sign in person, but her team are quite strict on how much and how often (for obvious reasons).

So she's not the worst signer in person.
This is unproven so you shouldnt say this without knowing forsure {down} Truth is nobody knows forsure but i do know i got her autograph vv on the circus tour and it matches other signatures of hers including "so called" authentic in person autographs so i disagree with your comments 100% People always like to doubt autographs from huge stars either because they are jelous or they just figure the celeb is too popular to sign which isnt always the case. Not only do i know my autograph is real but i will be writing to her again on this tour.... {up}
Ok, I won't start an argument with you, but if no one can be sure if her VV successes are real or not, how can you be so sure yours is Real???
I admit you may be right, I just doubt they're real for a few different reasons ;-)

tbh it doesn't really matter, unless you get it IP you can never be 100% sure

Oh and why do you dissaggree with my comment ENTIRELY? I mean, sure there's doubt about the Via Venue thing, but everyone knows her team are strict in who she signs for in person. I've seen tonnes of videos on youtube where she can only sign one of two out of a huge crowd.
I wont argue about this any more and being strict in person has nothing to do with ttm ...The reason for strict in person is for security reasons as well as the fact that most in person autograph seekers are dealers looking to profit from the autographs and they know this where as ttm is usually areal fan because it costs money to send ttm not to mention writing the sincere letter and all the rest that goes with itand dealers are only in it for 100% profit and also ttm they can personalize it which makes it way harder to sell. They rarely personalize in person because they dont have time to ask your name.

Gwyneth Paltrow is a pretty tough signer.. So is Vanessa Hudgens -- although I am not sure they deserve to be on this list.

Well gghi18

I cant speak on ttm stuff since I dont do it.

But of all the people you listed... Shatner, Murray, Phoenix, Berry & Ryder have all made my worst list for IP. The rest on that list, I have either not met, or didnt have enough interaction to fairly grade them.... but it is a list I would say is fairly accurate from what I have encountered myself.

Feel free to check out my list http://canadagraphs.weebly.com/my-best- ... lists.html

I personally don't mind if people don't like to sign. It's very much their right not to.

I was once after a football player & coach who is quite reclusive. Reportedly never signs TTM, very rarely IP. I never bothered to try for him for this reason ... why bother a man who doesn't want to be bothered? Then i discovered that I had a friend who had a friend who knew this reclusive coach well and was happy to try on my behalf. The friend explained to the coach why I wanted him to sign a card of himself as the coach of the team I support (I have a fairly large collection of autographs of coaches & players from this team 460+; he was the only living coach i was yet to get; and the card i wanted signed was only card of him as the coach of that team - there were many other cards of him as a player with other clubs, but only one card as a coach from my club in 1982). I sent 2 cards - one for the coach to keep and one for me - and even sent a permanent pen and SASE to make it easier. Apparently he spent some time listening to the reasons for my request, agreed, signed and returned both cards...but kept the pen!

Don't like secretarials. I could fake the signature myself and save the postage! Don't mind RTS, as at least I can re-use the SASE. Don't like it if they use my SASE to return an unsigned item. Pre-prints are better than nothing... at least you can see what the signature should look like.

Totally agree with you. The only thing I don't like getting is my SASE back and find my photos unsigned only to get excited from nothing. I would prefer a RTS so I could reuse the stamps on the SASE inside the RTS.

And I agree, Pre-Prints do trick people too. Usually people who are accustomed to fanmail are good at spotting them but there are those few that really keep you guessing. You kind of want to smudge it to see if it's real but then again you don't want to ruin it if it is real, which I have done once before. :( (Even smudging could mean it's an Auto-Pen anyways). Which is why we usually wait on this site for people to post their same response so we can compare. lol Sometimes, it would be nice if there was a sticker on the back declaring the authenticity of the autograph. haha! :P

Yeah, I would prefer a pre print to a sec to be honest, I mean Sec's are just plain lying ;)

Then again so are pre prints (they trick a lot of people).

Lol I would prefer a pre print, sec, autopen or anything over nothing though.

Okay, I actually figured she was one of those people that wasn't necessarily a "bad" signer but was more controlled by security in what and how much she can sign. She's probably very fan friendly in-person.

About the secretary thing, I was skeptical on it anyways because she is SO busy but I don't know. I think I would prefer a pre-print from her (or any person's autograph I wanted) than one that I was pretty sure/ certain was signed by her secretary if that makes sense. lol

Thanks for your comment! :)
