I often put a bunch of sleeved autographs in a zip-locked bag with a desiccator packet (those little moisture absorbing packets you get with shoes).

I would put a lid on the box - no protection from moisture without a lid!

If you're using a box, there is no difference storing the autographs vertically than stacking, except vertical storage eliminates the potential weight issue.

I'd store them out of sunlight contact.

You can always put acid free tape down the edges of your sleeves and punch holes in the tape to put them in a binder.

Hey man! If it was me, I would look into getting archival acid free sleeves that have binder holes...and keep your autographs in binders. Ultra Pro sleeves are good.

I personally use these sleeves and they work great.

In each sleeve I also put a archival magazine size cardboard backer. Its acid free too. You can find them at any hobby shop type store.

Hope this somewhat helps...and also if your autographs are boxed and on top of each other...as long as there in acid free sleeves, you shouldn't have to worry, the autographs should be fine.

Hi,
I have recently taken all of my autos out of the frames they were in becasue they were in contact with the glass, I have now got them inside acid free archival sleeves. I have some questions regarding what to do now:

I have placed them inside a cardboard storage box (without the lid) but where should I put this box now to keep it safe and free from moisture?

And I was also debating whether I should stack the autos, could the weight of them being stacked on top of eachother damage the signatures at the bottom or is this fine to do? Any other reccomendations would be appreciated.
(I can not put them in a binder because the sleeves do not have holes)

Any help and opinions would be greatly appreciated,
