The thing about most of the conflicts on this forum is that you can make an argument for either side about which one is the idiot. Sometimes you can even argue that both are. Rudeness doesn't always correlate with it.

Yeah, I've met quite a few jerks on here. :lol: But I'm thick-skinned, so their comments rarely ever get me riled up. I've always stood by the quote

I agree that the majority of scrabbles happen for the above-mentioned reasons. We've got people of different ages, different lengths of experience autograph collecting, different values, and different nationalities. There's bound to be some clashing. Apply a saying from NA to this: "Take what you want and leave the rest." Mean-spirited people suck, and it seems easier for some to be rude annonymously online than in person. There's even some name calling here, which I find very distasteful. Try not to take it too personally because I think some people probably don't realize exactly how rude they come off and there are others who thrive on drama and arguements.

I doubt you'd get too much shit for this, because everyone knows it. A lot of people lie, and that starts a fight. A lot of people post a success with a private address, and that starts a fight. It's just something you're going to have to deal with when you're here.

It seems like a lot of the conversations on this website get into fights by the end of them, with people saying pretty nasty stuff to others. :neutral:

I know when i first started collecting a year ago one of my first successes was Yogi Berra! I took a risk and sent him a card at the Yankee Stadium address since i know he hangs there a lot, and i ended up getting it back signed! I was so thrilled and posted on this website right away, and didn't get the response I wanted. Since I'm only in high school and my parents don't own a scanner, everyone instantly called me a liar and said that it never happened. Lots of mean stuff on the topic. It just sucks cause i never got to prove myself without a scanner...and now i can't even show you guys the thread since it got deleted on fanmail!

I guess i was wondering if anyone had any hasty experiences with other users on this site? Or is it just me? :shock:
