Well i live in the us, and when i send 9x13 envelopes (weighing about 2-2.5 ounces) to the UK it costs me a little over $2 each, so if you are using $1 american stamps, i would use 3.

I use the "postage finder" part of the USPS website - worth noting that board backed envelopes cost more than standard ones! My board backed containing 1-2 10x8s usually comes to around $3 each.

If all you are sending is index cards in a normal sized envelope all you need is one 0.98 stamp on your envelope from the US to the UK.

HappinessStan is right about the cost for the larger items.

Good luck with your requests!

I put three 98c stamps on an A4 envelope which gets two 8x10 photos and a same-sized piece of fairly thin cardboard box back reliably.

The USPS website is second only to the Royal Mail site in the running for the "most baffling to foreigners" awards, it took me almost a year, but cracked it eventually with considerable perseverance.

HI all

I've been doing TTM in the UK for years but never really done overseas, however now is the time to start, I did James Earl Jones and Jason Wingreen earlier this year and had great successes but was told I paid way to much postage, so can you please tell me what postage I need, I have checked and the more I look the more confused I get.
I'm looking to send index cards to many people from Friday 13th so my return parcel would be letter size and weigh no more then 50grams and the ones that I send photos to would be no bigger then A4ish and weigh no more then 100grams, Can anyone please break this down for me, I have a load of $1 stamps but I think maybe I should have bought some 50cents one.

Thank You

Jason
