Please do not be a smart alec and tempt fate haha, just send a normal picture of him and you should be fine. I have heard it is because Snape pictures are very likely to end up on ebay.

I'm not sure whether you should send a Snape photo, I don't want to give you the wrong advice. But maybe sending a Snape photo and a photo of him in something else? I've no idea. Maybe be safe and don't send him a Snape photo? It's your decision.

When did you send it? He´ll be in Brodway in November shall I send a Snape photo?

Yes that rumour is true. Although I can't remember where, but I saw him say that he doesn't want to sign Snape pictures until the serial is over. So you could try, but to be on the safe side I wouldn't. I've sent to him twice. The first time a Snape picture, I knew he wouldn't sign it, but I wanted to see what would happen. I got back a letter saying he was too busy to sign. I sent the next week a picture of him not as Snape, got it back signed very quickly.

The way I see it, his role as Snape is the one most people recognize him for and he doesn't like that. Actors don't like to be known for just one role, but rather for all the roles they've played. I'd love to meet him in-person and ask why exactly he won't sign, or maybe he just does it knowing that it will tick fans off. And knowing alan that's probably why. :lol:

I want his autograph more than anything else but before I send anything out to him I want to make sure if this rumour is either true or false. Hope that someone out there can help me!
