Someone told me that isn't a good idea to talk about too personal things, body parts and so when i referred to a great way of looking but I believe he didn,t understand me :S I'd NEVER write about love in a fan mail to a celeb and I'll neve do, neither silly stuff like ooohh you are a hunk or ooohhh you are very handsome and so,but.... boy if someone has a deep look and I'd love it.... I'd like to tell

Yeah, that's a good point! If you ask a question in your letter, something that wouldn't take to long to answer, but is interesting to you they might answer it for you in a quick note or something. That's always cool

Oh yeah, I always try and ask something. Only an interesting question of course lol but you never know, they might actually answer it which is even better than an autograph in my opinion

I think it would be ok as long as you didn't go on and on for pages, and you made sure you comented on other stuff too. Like if you said, I really liked your acting in this movie, and I think the makeup artists did a good job making your eyes look very deep.....and then add on from there.

ehem I'd like to ask some silly weird questions so, If you particulary like some celeb in some movie( i don,t know how express myself I'm Spanish and I just learned English at school)

I mean, you can express your feeling about how he did amazed or impressed you? Another matter, if there is some special celebs who you love or 4 example if you're writing to someone and you like a lot his deep eyes or his way of looking, it's an example, emm can you comment him(her) in a polite way, I mean I know it's silly to say I loooove youuu marry me and so, but if any actor or actress has impressed you in some way, in my example, if you particullary like the eyes or the look of someone can you tell them? Or in particullary movie someone liked you a lot in that character.... or the way he/she acts and moves...

I know it sounds weird but.... there's some people that just made a deep impression on me in many ways and movies ;) Its not a silly teen love just admiration feelings and I'd like to express when I'm writing to they

Yes, this is in the wrong forum, I was wondering why it hasn't been moved yet.

Like Joeay said, compliment them on their work, but don't go to far with it as it will seem fake. Add personal conections or coments if you like, and be sincere because they will be able to tell if you're not and just want an autograph. Also, I would try to stay away from the "I love you, I want to marry you stuff" Becuase that gets tiring pretty fast.

If you can, send something to be signed, but make sure you won't be heartbroken if it doesn't get returned. A picture or index card is usualy good, sometimes a DVD cover or something. If you can send a SASE or at least SAE, or if not even that have your address somewhere in the letter. I usualy include my email address too, just in case (I've never gotten an email from a celeb, so don't get to excited) Try to keep your letters under a page becuase celeb's get tons of mail and don't have time to read all of it if it's really long.

You can send something like a small gift for the celeb, but they may not get it. If you do, try to make it light, and not so big that they would have to pick it up at the post office. I've seen alot of sites that say you can send some stuff to them, and alot that say you shouldn't so it's really a matter of choice I guess. If you do don't send food or perishables though because they may not open up their mail for awhile.

I definatley didn't cover all of it, so if you have any questions ask away, and it may be better to ask a moderator becuase they know alot more than I do, but I hope I did help a little.

Also if you cant afford pictures, plain ol' white index cards do the trick, too!

But well, just comment on their films/jobs (don't know who you plan to send to), compliment them on whatever (acting, singing..). Don't go too far though.

Always try to supply a picture. Cos some people won't answer or will send you a preprint if you don't supply a picture.

i wanted to know if anyone could help me out. ive never sent a letter to a celebrity and i wanted to know what you guys usually say when requesting an autograph. And do I need to supply a picture or will they usually have one to give me?
