I remember speaking to the agent and she was not happy with this website for giving it out and I felt quite sorry for her.
I'm pretty sure this was my fault.
I was looking around one day and found the e-mail, so I decided to send one off because he's my favorite golfer.
When I got it in the mail I was so excited and posted the address not thinking much of it.
But then she e-mailed me asking if I would take it all down, which I did, because she was getting more requests than she could cope with. I then apologized to her, and she thanked me, saying it wasn't a big deal, just that they tried to keep signed things for true fans and charities.

I apologize if I prevented anyone from getting his autograph. I was really excited and not really thinking clearly.

It is rude and talk about rubbing peoples nose's in it! "Look what I got! But I am not going to share on the feedback test an address forum haha"!

It would be better that they didn't post on Feedback (which after all is reporting a succss/failure at such and such an address), but put it somewhere like Autograph Diaries where it isn't so prominent.

Thank you, thats exactly what I was trying to say.

Personally I don't use emails, but my opinion on the matter is above.
BINGO! That's how I look at it too. {up} I don't see why people get so upset when they don't post them. I don't whine and complain about it, but rather start doing my own searching for it. & I rarely ever ask them to confirm it either, if I think its the one, I send an email off. if it comes back as 'failure' then I start looking again. {up}

Although they don't give you the address, they do give you the knowledge that if you do spend hours for the address you are not completely wasting your time. I agree with you! Someone should be happy about their success and want to share it! If they don't want to give the address/ email out then it's their choice. People who are rude I don't like. They could say no in a nice way! If someone found a new address for someone like Robert Pattinson then, it's unlikey that the person would post the address and I respect that!

This website isn't all just about addresses all the time. It's an autograph collecting forum and if people wish to share anything autograph related whether that includes an address or not then that should be ok. I would rather see a post about someone sharing an autograph they obtained without an address other than no post at all. I don't think the majority of people are being rude, just being sensible. A private/email address can be spammed very quickly and people just use it as an excuse to get a "free autograph". No, and I completely understand that, I've even spent DAYS looking for a certain email, I've had luck sometimes, then sometimes I haven't had luck, but what I'm saying is, this is an address SHARING forum, not a "private email, sorry" forum. And if you do ask the person that has had the success their completely rude and mean about it, automatically saying that you're going to spam it. I dunno, this is my opinion....

I have looked for hours for email addresses before with no luck. It's part of the hobby. If someone is a big enough fan they should try to find an email address themself. Also emails can't spammed quickly if they get out and then the person stops replying. So, that's just my opinion on this topic.
