Cate Blanchett is doing a play in Australia for the past month. Aidan Turner just tweeted that he finished (something) in Ft.Lauderdale and was heading back to Los Angeles.

The Hobbit ended filming on December 31st 2011.

I think it has ended. I'm not sure so I could be wrong, but it started last spring so it would be a HUGE shoot if it was still going on.
