I try to keep it as cheap as possible.
My boss gave me a free box of 200 envelopes approx size 5x7.
I only send out 5x7 photos. Walmart prints 5x7s for 58 cents.
I don't send out 8x10s because they cost more(i.e. larger envelopes, more postage, etc.)
I keep the letter weight under 1 ounce.
I don't use heavy, stiff cardboard. I use light-weight, flexible cardboard.
I only use one stamp to send and one stamp for the SASE. 44 + 44= 88 cents
Approx. $1.50 per celebrity
If I write 10 celebrities a month, it costs me approx. $15.00 a month for 10 autographs.

I get about 4x9 envelopes at 40 for 96 cents. At walmart.

??? Envelopes are very cheap. Sending the actual letters and getting U.S dollars are the biggest expenses for me.

At Staples a box of 100 is about 18 dollars, which means you can send out 50 requests including a SASE in each. So it's about $0.36
per request. So, I guess it isn't too much, but it still can add up.

??? Envelopes are very cheap. Sending the actual letters and getting U.S dollars are the biggest expenses for me.
