thats a good point... i'll bear that in mind. maybe put initial and last name ie mr j. doe cos they wouldnt sign it to my surname.

david tennant sent me a cracking photo with her name across it in silver. i sent him my own photo on the basis that if he had to write his sig then he'd probably do the dedication too. that way his sec couldnt just dedicate a pre signed one.

did the same with christopher eccleston today. will post on here if it comes back!

I'd rather not include your name too, just write your address on envelope and that's enough, because there is a chance they won't read your LOR asking to sign for your sister, so they will just write the name which is on envelope.

Why don't you just say: 'please could I have an autograph for my little sister who loves Doctor Who'. Or something similar. And not mention your sisters name, and just sign the letter with your own name and address the envelope to yourself.

Matt smith Sec dedications

Hey Guys,

Ive been collecting Dr Who autographs for my young sister (for me its the aquiring them, its like a game) and im looking to get her matt smiths.

i usually ask for a personalisation, as then she knows it was intended for her, i havent just bought it or given her it from my own collection. however, i see that matt smiths agent send out pre signed cards with a sec personalisation.

is there any way to get one with just the autograph? id rather get her an undedicated than one with a false dedication. but im worried that if i specifically ask for it undedicated they'll think im a seller.

thanks for any tips,

dave
