Thanks guys, maybe I won't reply for a while then.

Anyway the email that I used was JudyB@judyblume.com

Good luck to anyone who tries. She really is a wonderful author.

I'm sure they are really busy - unless they asked you a specific question, its probably more polite not to reply. I wouldn't anyway.

Perhaps, since they did wish you well with your studies, you could just drop them another email in a few months to say "hey remember me? just wanted to let you know I'm going really well in my studies" or something like that.

what email address did you use? and for the question don't reply, (well i wouldn't anyway.) Because if the use a question i think they make it a rhetorical question but its entirley up to you.

A few days ago Ms. Blume send me a personalize email. Personally I think that is much better than an autograph, mainly because it means she took the time to reply with more than just her name. She apologized for being very busy (which is a bit silly, because she did respond) but was extremely nice. I had told her how much I loved the book Blubber, and she mentioned it (meaning it wasn't just a form letter).

It really made my day! She even wished me good luck in my Uni studies, which I thought was very sweet.

I do have a question, should I reply to her reply? I mean, what's the proper etiquette with that?
