Yeah always put the return address on the back of the envelope youre sending or you say on the top left, wherever.
Then if it is the wrong address, that perosn isnt known or has moved or whatever it can come back RTS.

You can write your return address on both. You write your address on the SASE to be delivered to you. You write your address on the envelope of your request to show that the request is from you.

O I see........ But people write the return address on the self addressed envelope inside the first envelope! And if there's no self addressed envelope then people write the return address on the front on the top left!

eg If you write to someone at an agency but they aren't represented by that agency anymore, then they can have the letter returned to you (if you write a return address on the back).
