Being able to get an autograph from a celebrity that I like but will probably never get the chance to meet in person.

Everytime i got to the post office to ship out a letter and before i put it in the post office box to send off i always say to myself "I wonder if i am ever going to see you again" and i also love going to the mail box every morning

I also like opening a SASE without knowing whose reply it is.

obviously i LOVE receiving autographs back from people. even more so if its unexpected or personalised, but i also REALLY enjoy writing the letters. usually its the same basic layout for each person i send too (i mainly send to actors/actresses) so its usually "hello, im a fan, i really like this this and this. what my favorite role of theirs is and then i ask if i could please have an autograph) but if its someone i especially like then i will write more or go into more detail.

i hand write all my letters too. its very relaxing and calms me down for some reason, especially if im having a rough day (mental health issues can cause my moods to flip fairly rapidly)

and i enjoy picking out which dvd cover to send and which picture to print off from the internet.



one last thing as well, if i receive a dvd cover back i REALLY enjoy putting it back in the case and seeing how it looks. thats REALLY satisfying

Just kidding, it's probably getting to organize new autographs I've just gotten in my binder & crossing their name off of my pending list.

Also, when I know I have a couple of weeks until I get something back, I go on eBay and buy playbills & such.

Checking the mail box everyday.

I love looking through the books of all my autographs and also sharing them with my friends and family. It's also pretty great to see envelopes in the mailbox
