I have thought a lot about writing some of the more notorious people just to try to get a look into their soul/mind. But i have always balked at the idea. That said, i did do close toa decade in the military and am now trying to get the living Medal of Honor reciepiants. As this award was/is given out 85% of the time after death it will be a nice collection. As far as i know there is less than 30 living MOH winners, with two coming out of the past 2 conflicts. Before that there was only 2 given out after Vietnam ended in 1976? Anywho, if anyone has any info on the MOH people it would be much appreciated!!!

Notorius Prisoner Charles Bronson:

He is A Nice person... I wrote to him asking for a drawing/artwork
to sell for my charity trip. I got back a visiting order and a note saying
he would like to sketch ME and do a poem!
I went there and he sketched me :) I just sold the item for £102...
Lovely man

THanks :)

He sent me an 8x10 and two business cards signed by him. Look where he is at now, his murder trial starts tomorrow. And if it really freaks you out that they're going to "hunt you down" (which will not happen), use a PO Box.

Besides, I think it's really cool to add that to a collection because who really has a Drew Peterson autograph?

drew is so arrogant, i cant imagine him not replying..

Just thought i would share that i got back a letter today from a rather infamous person serving life for more than 1 murder, attempted murder, and some other stuff i cant remember but the letter was very nice and i didnt ask for a autograph in my letter but the letter was signed at the end anyways and it was 3 pages long and very interesting. I was asked if in my next letter i could send some stamps and paper and envelopes which i will do and have you ever wondered what inmates use to write letters since pens and pencils are sharp and could be used for weapons well i know now that they apparently get these lame hard to use flex pens that are limp lol makes sence but who knew.I am not going to say who it is at this point but i have not got back a actual autograph in awhile now so it was nice to get the letter mixed in with my bills and junk mail ... {up} [ca]

Thank you. That soldier idea is absolutely perfect! I'm actually going to see if I can start that project!!!

Go for it! I've written a few soldiers, not in search of autographs or anything like that, but pretty much just to thank them and let them know that all of us back home still care and are grateful for them. Most recently, I wrote to a soldier staying in a German hospital who had both of his legs and both of his arms blown off in a road side bomb. I also sent him a donation, which was to help go towards their medical bills. I actually got a very nice thank you note in return from his wife. Personally, I find writing them just as rewarding if not more rewarding then getting an autograph.

Of course I don't agree with anything this guy has done, he's like you said "a scumbag." I'm not the collector that goes for big name people all the time. I like the challenge when it comes to this hobby.

Look how many people have tried for Charlie Manson or OJ Simpson. It's all the same. Why wouldn't you try for the unique autograph that will only go up in value?

Anyway, not looking to start any sort of argument. Just my opinion on the matter.
I'm not looking to argue either. Nothing against you personally, but I have a huge hatred for Drew Peterson in particular. But it really just disgusts me the biggest lowlifes and scumbags on earth get fanmail, autgraph requests, and attention for the fact that they murder people. Hell, if people like unique autographs so much, write to a soldier who was wounded fighting for your country. There are plenty of interesting people who would be both challenging and unique to get, who have done something postive for society... not murder innocent and helpless people  . Thats the way I see it.

Alright I'm sorry but that pisses me off you wrote him for an autograph. Besides maybe the dark knight shooter, this scumbag is probably my most hated of all the "famous" murderers. you gave him the attention he so desperately craves. God I hope the justice system works, and this evil man gets what's coming to him.
