PSA/DNA is incredibly reliable.
and even if it is a forgery.

other people will still accept it because it passed PSA/DNA.

you're still taking a human's opinion based on trying to match it up with known signatures.

unless you see it signed in person, you'll never actually know.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the replies

So is the PSA/DNA reputable?

I asked him a few questions and got are ply

We held the signing, the only one Mayweather has ever done, in Chicago. We fly publically traded authenticator, PSA/DNA, into all our sigings to witness each autograph "In the Presence". The item comes with a tamper proof numbered sticker and matching certificate of authenticity. While we took photos of Floyd at the signing, we did not photograph all 1000 autographs so the picture comes with photos of Floyd from the signing, not specific to each item. Thanks for your interest.

I have since asked if then photo I'm bidding on is registered on the PSA / DNA website also.

What do you think?

Thanks
Nick

The PSA/DNA that he is showing is listed as authentic.

Item: Photograph

Primary Subject: FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.

Authentication Date: 11/25/2011

Authentication Location: Chicago, IL

Result/Grade: Authentic

Notes: 16x20

But he is selling 7 of these photos so there is no way of knowing that he will get the one listed in the auction pictures.

You can look it up on the psa/dna website here:

http://www.psacard.com/verification/

I looked it up and it didn't come up as valid, doesn't mean it's not...could just not be in their system yet so you may want to email them. People fake psa/dna certification...

He is saying that he is a representative of the PSA/DNA service... trying to give the impression he can be trust worthy. If he is or not, is debatable. You'd have to find a way to verify with PSA/DNA that he is an actual representative... and still hope he is telling the truth.

always sketchy about stuff from eBay like that
