I kinda agree with you on this. I try to send letters only to those people who are considered to sign authentically. So I have only sent 9 or 10 letters by now.

If I would receive an obvious sec, I would throw it away, no doubt about it. PP and AP, on the other hand, I would probably save (not together with real signatures though) just for the sake of nice pictures, but since I don't write to likes of John Travolta and such, I doubt i'll ever get one.
