Yes interesting :) however, i do believe they filmed in a different way. The close up was the actress but for long shots I do believe they had her stand on a "stage of sorts". I saw this in the big blue Harry Potter from page to screen book, but it is possible I am mistaken. Non the less... very interesting :)

Seems Heroes & Legends aren't quite done with Harry Potter-related guests (they had no Harry Potter actors last year), but several days ago they announced Welsh actor Ian Whyte would be attending their event. As I found out (I didn't know this before he was announced), Ian actually (as a incredibly tall actor at over 7' foot) played Madame Maxine for the long-range shots of the whole character, while the close-ups of Maxine were done by the actress who was credited as playing her. Pretty interesting, huh? Very tempted to get Ian's autograph on a Madame Maxine picture, as it'd be a very interesting piece, to say the least.

Just been announced today that Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey) will also be attending the Heroes & Legends event, along with Chris Rankin who was already announced. Now I get to meet two Harry Potter actors in one go! :)

Not related to any of the conventions you've listed here, but Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) is listed to attend a event called Heroes & Legends in Belfast, Northern Ireland on the 16th and 17th of February. This event focuses on a lot of science-fiction and fantasy franchises including Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Star Trek and others. I'm hoping to attend so if I do I'll hopefully have a chat with him and get his autograph. If I can make it, he'll be the first Harry Potter celebrity I'll have met at an event. :D

Team Starkid are confirmed and so is Evanna, I think Katie Leung (Cho) might be going too, and Chris Rankin (Percy) tweeted that he'd go if he's invited :D
Added Evanna and Team Starkid to the list... I'll try to confirm if katie and chris are going!
