I heard former major league baseball player Ellis Valentine talk about a new project that will help autograph collectors last night:
http://thekaufmanshow.podbean.com/ (starts at the 40th minute).
He has a website
www.ellisvalentine.com where you can buy autographed memorabilia direct from him, or send stuff to him to be signed. He says in the interview that he'll be emptying his attic of game-used stuff over the coming months (selling it on his website)!
What's exciting is that it sounds like there will be more of these sites to come for other professional athletes.
One to keep an eye on, me thinks as it will be interesting to see who else comes on board.
