yeah, i wrote to the english address.. was your name in the letter? mine was, that's why i think it could be her...

by The_Terrible_Toad_King » Sun Apr 02, 2006 1:04 pm

did you use the english address?
because I wrote to her there a couple of months ago and got a printed letter back last week which I presume gets sent out to everybody

I don't really know if this one can be real, but as far as I know she did reply to letters (for example some who sent asked her questions), but those letters were printed on the computer and signed by her (not a print).

There's always a chance that it's really her, right? I would say chances are greater that it's from one of her 'people', but I haven't seen it, so it's really not fair for me to pass judgement on it. Since no one saw her writting it to you I say you should just hope that it's real because it's more fun to think of it that way than just "Hey, another pre print!"

So yeah, there's my confusing 2 cents.... Hope it was helpfull

JK Rowling - question

i received a letter from JK Rowling in january, and aparently, it was written by her. it says that she liked my letter very much, that she often gets a lot of letters saying that she must get tired of reading how much people like her books but she doesn't, and that she hoped that i found HP6 worth a re-read (i told in my letter i was going to re-read it, and i didnt write that she must get tired of hearing how much i like hp.. )
BUT the letter isnt signed by her, the signature is printed
my mom and i thought that someone replied for her, but i saw that 2 people here sent her letters too, but who replied was someone from bloomsbury or scholastic...
soo what do you think? do you think she replied to me or someone else did?

and im sorry if i posted this in the wrong place..
