I have done a decent amount of research and trying to find out new ways to enjoy this hobby day by day. It's a lot of fun.

I also agree, these autographs are for me and noone else. I always have them sign it to me because then they should know I really just want the autograph for keepsake and not to sell. :)

So far I have gotten Nick Collins and Greg Jennings from the Green Bay Packers and its such a great feeling once you get them back. I about to send a ton out though so I will keep you all posted. :)

Welcome fo fanmail. Now with that being said, please dont take this the wrong way but I have 2 things I would like to say, and I'm pretty sure people will agree with me when I say these..

1) Take the time and do research like most of us have done. You will enjoy it more when you get something in the mail. Just asking for "anyone who signs" is what the problem with TTM's are becoming. People send to anyone that will sign for free. Thats why many people now have started charging for autographs, because people turn around and sell them on sites like ebay.
2) Collect who you like. If you are a fan of someone or of a certain team then go that way and send to them, but first do research to find out if they sign. And don't expect to get everything back in a month or less. I have a handfull that took well over a year. Most of mine have been from 1-3 months before I get them back. Some of them only do fanmail once a year. Have patience...

I have only just started on this site, and i agree with what you are saying. i would also like to add a little more. a way that they will sign when you send something is to ask for them to personalize it for you. Every autograph that i send out for is what i am keeping, or am getting for a friend. i would also like to add that when doing the research look at the feedback that others have posted on successes. you will know for sure then if you will get something back.
