im sure that they read them later on, however, i think they are trying to hurry and finish it up, so they just find the name, and write the autograph.

Just because stars send out autographs doesnt meant they actually read everyones letters. They might just open it up see the name of the person the letter is from and write them an autograph. Cuz I have seen people say that they havent asked for an autograph from stars and still get a response with one. Just an idea.
