Well I would assume that would depend on what you mean by "on Facebook". If he or his people wrote that from an official page, then yes, it's a pretty safe bet.
If it's just collector chatter, then it could be true or it may not. As bobd_uk stated, they've never seen one, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist.
Either way, you already sent it, so it really doesn't matter anymore. As with every request, if you get it back, you get it back.
