I usually say

" Can you please sign a picture to me , it would mean a lot"

good luck {??} {up}

No I dont. If the celebrity then personalises it, it maes it feel more special to me.

But I dont ask for personalisation, as I'm happy with just an auto

I usually ask for a personalization if I'm only sending 1 photo. If I'm sending more than 1 photo, I don't ask for personalization, I just ask if they wouldn't mind signing one of or all of my photos.

I always ask for a personalisation. As I send photos with my request, I normally write something along the lines of:

"It would mean a lot to me if you could kindly personalise and/or autograph the enclosed photos"

Obviously the and/or part makes the personalisation part sound optional. I don't want the celebrity to be pressured into doing so, but almost all of my photos have come back personalised anyway :).

I would much prefer to have my photos back personalised - it just adds that extra touch knowing that it's for you :wink:

Exactly, I wouldn't like it much if say someone wrote "please don't dedicate this pic" (unless it was for charity) as then it would give me the feeling that it was going straight on ebay or something like that.

i always ask them to personalise it to me!

1) this means that u cant sell it on ebay
2) this also may mean that they have read ur letter as well
3) it feels more better to have it personliased to you!!

I've never asked anyone to personalise an autograph and I always get inscribed signed photos so 80% of celebrities dedicate the photo anyway. I don't think its rude in anyway if you ask for them to dedicate it :mrgreen: {up}
exactly.

i usually do not ask and i almost always get an inscribed photo.
ive only asked for a personalized photo aruond 5 times.

I do the same thing, in fact I reakon that they might prefer to personalise it (if they have time) as they can then be sure its not just going to go straight on ebay. But yet most of them don't have enough time especially the A list celebs.
