Hi danielz,
Sending a photo to a celebrity to sign is optional but be forwarned, if you decide to print up your own photo's, the large photo paper sold in stores is usually 8.5x11 so a 9x12 envelope is needed as an SASE.
I advise you to always use a 9x12 envelope as an SASE because it can house all sizes of photo's, some celebrities send 4x6, 5x7's (SFM uses this size a lot), 8x10, 8.5x11, et al. Stephen J. Cannell (he created the TV show called The A-Team) sent me a 8.5x11 autographed picture several months ago, so a 9x12 is the best to use as an SASE.
It is wise to always send an SASE because it increases your chances of getting a reponse back because all the celebrity has to do put an autograph into the envelope & send back because you pay for the postage.
