Those who write just to get an autograph are the people who ruin it for others.
thank you!!! Other people need to realize this. A lot of people write to certain celebs just because they are good signers and then the address ends up getting overwhelmed with requests. Especially if its an email address, sometimes people will write to them just for the heck of it. And then either the address gets shutdown or the celeb turns to preprints. I wish people would stop selling autographs too, but doubt thatll ever happen. It makes it more difficult for us

Excellent point & I totally agree. I only write to celebrities who I am fans of. I wouldn't write to a celebrity just because they are a good signer or they are fast at answering fanmail. I also don't like people who write to celebrities only because they want to sell the autograph(s) on EBAY because these people who sell autographs ruin it for everyone else. In fact, some celebrities have stopped signing TTM because they don't like the fact that they sign an autograph & send it out & then certain people sell the autograph(s) on EBAY, et al.
Only write to celebrities who you are fans of not because they are good signers of fast at answering fanmail. My autograph collection is special to me because all of the autographs are celebrities who I'm fans of.
