Even if it were possible for individuals to set up reply mail accounts, I think that most celebs would take a dim view of it. I'm afraid it would make you appear too much like a business to them, making them think you'd be selling the autographs that you were getting.

63 cents will cover first class mail weighing two ounces or less. If you are using cardboard/backing material any thicker than half a manilla file folder, I don't see how you are sending out requests with SASEs for 63 cents.

I have been going by what the post office website says. An average mailing for me is two envelopes (9x12), cardboard (8x11), the 8x10 photograph and a letter which all weigh typically around 3.7 ounces. Sending that to lets say zip code 90210-3827 costs $1.11 first class (which I assume is the cheapest) from 13212-3819 for each envelope.

If I am going about this all wrong let me know...maybe I dont need to be sending it first class (thus the lower postage amount you are putting on).

no I just put one on each envelope. Why do you put so much postage? The cardboard doesnt add that much extra weight to the envelope, so 63 cents will cover it.

Why .63 cent stamps? So I only have to put two on each envelope?

Because of the total weight (8x10 photo, cardboard for support, letter, and both envelopes) of the envelopes I am sending out, I have to put three stamps on both envelopes. If I dont get a reply thats $2.34 just in postage, not including the cost of the photo. I was just thinking that if there was a way that we only had to pay postage on the envelopes that were returned, that would be a big savings over time.
