I just recieved Mark Bellhorn signed pic (the one that made the cover of SI during the WS). So maybe I was right about what I said in the previous post.

Nice success. He also signs through his home address. Unfortunately spring training is over but I'm still hoping to recieve some from players who sign at the end. Maybe I'm being too optimistic about things, but who knows? Now I think one of the better ways to get baseball autos is with home addresses. You got to catch them at the right time but since most people send to the stadium i figure home might work better. (Autohound537, I PMed you about a couple of Sox home addresses, no rush, but I'd be greatly appreciative any information you have.)

i wasnt aware mientkewicz was a yank.
He just became one this year. Seems like so many former Sox have become Yankees.

thats interesting that wiki would add a signed photo after he alrady signed the card. I have met Jim a couple of times and you are right I think more players need to be like this to their fans. I mean we are pretty much paying their salary, aren't we?
