When you decide to write via-venue you should always try to send a photo or something else to be signed. The chances are that the celeb will not have their own photos with them, and the likelyhood is that your letter will go missing before the celeb goes back home.

You could send a SAE, but I think Via Venue is better when you send a SASE.

If the person is only in town for a day or so, that might not be long enough to go to the post office and get stamps or exchange IRC's.

The choice of SAE or SASE is really just up to you-some celebrities respond without a SASE some don't.

Good luck with your requests {up}

I did. Some celebrities I don't send SASE's to. Is better to send SASE's to venues or will SAE's work? Who pays for the postage?

Via Venue is where YOU send a photo AND SASE because the celebrity doesn't usually being photos and envelopes to the theatre or concert.

So in answer to your question, YES!!

Do Via-Venue (one night concerts, NOT long running theater productions)require SASE?
