There have been times where certain stars asked to see a ticket stub before signing (Julia Roberts comes to mind), but on my recent NY trip it never happened.

Just be at the stage door 2 hours after show start and you should be set. I managed to meet Julianne Moore, Tom Everett-Scott, Tony Roberts, and a few others last time.

Good luck!

Hi,

I have a question. I am going to be in NYC in June and I had a question about stage doors. Can you still go to a stage door even if you didn't go see the play? and how do you find where they are? Are the stars usually nice and sign autographs for you if you wait and approach slowly?

Thanks,
