Well the thing with displaying autographs is that even if you place them in the shade, some light still reaches it. There is no way to prevent fading even if you were to use the best quality glass. If you really want to display your autographs, I would say make a photocopy of them and keep the original in a safe place. The one time flash of the photocopier is better than the prolonged exposure your autograph to the light through the years of display. :)

Here's the deal:

I put my autographs under glass. Right away. THey have very nice, sturdy frames at my local stationary store. They have a flat black border, and glass underneath. Sturdy and simple, and I really like the way they look.

NOW.... I also keep my autographs in the shade at all times. When not being displayed, they are kept under a heavy curtain at all times. the room in which they are in has no windows, so no light gets to them at all.

Also, It's never humid in my house. Usually always a cool 71 degrees.

Am I doing anything wrong? I kind of stayed away from the booklet Idea, simply because I wanted to display them. But, because I wanted to display them, I've tried to keep them as safe as possible, so again--

Am I doing anything wrong? If so, please point it out. I want to have these for my grandchildren's grandchildren.

Best regards,
Monte
