when it's pre-production you should start getting your stuff together like start writing the letter, find the address or request it, get the SASE, stuff like that. Normally on fanmail someone, usually Larisie, will give you info on like when it starts filming and when it ends that way you know when to send it

Hey Zorin,

For the most part, Andy is right. You are definitely not likely to get anything from a celeb during pre-production and shouldn't be sending anything yet as the celebs usually have not arrived yet. During filming is probably the most likely as to when you'll receive something back, but there have been occasions where the celebs will take their fanmail back home with them after filming and sign it then. So, it really all depends.

I was just wondering when you are most likely to get a reply if you write to a film address - when the film is in pre-production, filming or in post-production?
