^Yep, exactly.
I'm not an autograph hunter... I know someone who requests an autograph, because he saw the person in a trailer.
I am only writing to the people I really admire, and write them carefully a neat letter. :)

Some agencies have websites which list their clients, you can always email an agency to see if they represent a particular person, and for people in the UK you can search their agency using The Spotlight.

I try doing that, but I never can really find the information. Is there are website where it says what clients belong to what agency

i always research to see if the celeb i'm writing signs and to see if the address is acurate as well. That's why i'm saying that i never received an RTS or getting a letter telling me that he or she doesn't sign. That's just me :) [ca]

DantheMan- An RTS doesn't reflect what you write in the letter or why you are writing to them. I was disappointed because I have received 3 RTSs so far and 3 letters of info about how they don't sign. But at least for one of those of those info letters I still received a preprint. Even if you write a lot of really nice things, it doesn't mean that you will receive an autograph over other people that don't.

I agree I don't write to celebrities to get an autograph i write to them because I want to, its just a bonus if they send me an autograph

I never write to celebs just because that person is a good signer.I only write to celebs that i like. To this day i never got an RTS or a letter explaining that the celeb doesn't sign. It's always good to be honest to the celebs when writing to them :)
